I Have Seen How the Universe Swallows is a handmade book based on my watercolors. The watercolors are inspired by planetary nebula (dying medium-sized stars). Each book contains original graphite drawings and notes that point to different aspects of the phenomenon.
The book is part of the project Concerning the Spiritual in Art curated by LOCUS, and was launched at the Norwegian Institute in Athens (2017) during the opening week of Documenta 14, and presented at the Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair (2017), Bergen Art Book Fair (2017) and San Francisco Art Book Fair (2018). The title Concerning the Spiritual in Art is appropriated from Wassily Kandinsky and his theory of painting.
